BEIJING, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted West Chile Rise at 1435 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 36.93 degrees south latitude and 96.87 degrees west longitude. ■
